Needs vary by zone:
- Torrevieja town centre: 70s–80s flats with older installations, shops in Habaneras and the centre, owner communities with shared areas (garages, lifts).
- La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Punta Prima: bungalows and villas, lots of second residences and holiday lets, salt and humidity accelerating outdoor deterioration.
- Orihuela Costa (Campoamor, Las Filipinas, Aguamarina): large urbanisations with inherited consumer units, ducted aircon and intensive outdoor lighting.
- Playa Flamenca, Villamartín: mixed residential and holiday property; heavy electrical storm exposure in season.
- San Miguel de Salinas, Los Montesinos: more rural housing, agricultural installations and permanent residences with low contracted power that runs short after renovations.
